His legacy of non-violent protest lives on in spirit today as a major influence on Indian society and the international community. He pioneered the philosophy of “satyagraha”, a concept based on truth and resistance to injustice through non-violent resistance.

During Walks

What is left of Mahatma Gandhi’s teachings in today’s India?

What relevance are his thoughts and deeds for the future?

How Mahtama affected and changes the lives of everyone around him, and of the coming generations?

These are few of the many questions which we seek to answer and we hope to do so by following the footsteps of Mahatma. We make sure through our walks that the teachings and philosophies of the father of our nation do not, get faded away in time.

Our Gandhi Tour in Delhi, the capital city of India aims to give you an insight into important national stories about Gandhi, his life, and his actions that shaped a nation.  Discover Gandhi’s Delhi and the famous sights associated with the life and times of Mahatma Gandhi and be inspired. Visit Gandhi Smriti, the place where Gandhi died, and the National Gandhi Museum, where many great memories of Gandhi are on display and explore an amazing array of information, documents, and relics from his life, philosophy, and work. There are around 6000 original photos of Gandhi preserved here.
Our Gandhi Tour in Delhi also includes a stopover at Gyarah Murti or the 11 statues depicting Gandhi’s Dandi March, an action he carried out to break the country’s oppressive Salt Law.

In the city of Porbandar, which is the birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi (born in 1869) we do an afternoon city tour to Kirti Mandir, the memorial erected to Gandhi and his wife, in the 1950s and Gandhi’s birthplace, a 3-story 300-year-old house, with time to stop at the Chowpatty seafront and shop in the local bazaar.

Mahatma Gandhi moved to the city of Rajkot in 1881, he attended school here and was popularly known as Mahatma (Sanskrit for ‘great soul’).  Our speciality tour shall cover ‘Kaba Gandhi No Delo’, the house where Gandhi grew up, which now holds a small exhibition of Gandhi artifacts and photographs.

Ahmedabad is a mix of medieval and modern, along with the coexistence of Hindu, Muslim and Jain communities, a compelling place to explore. Join us and visit Sabarmati, the site of Gandhi’s ashram and the place where he launched his celebrated march against the Salt Law.

In the tiny village of Dandi, our tour covers the most famous scene of Mahatma Gandhi’s Salt Satyagraha (Salt March). Mahatma Gandhi, along with several thousand of his followers walked from Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi on the Gujarati coast.
